Dubai Arbitration Week
Prof. Dr. Dr. Doris Hildebrand and Dr. Dr. Pascal Hildebrand participated in this year’s Dubai Arbitration Week, held from 10 to 14 November 2025. The event, recognised as one of the leading global gatherings in international arbitration, brought together representatives of major arbitral institutions, international arbitrators, economic experts and counsel from across the world. It offered an excellent platform for in-depth discussions on recent developments in international cross-border dispute resolution.
Throughout the week, discussions centred on the role of economic analysis in arbitration, focusing particularly on complex damages assessments, international competition and investment disputes, and the growing relevance of economic evidence in the deliberation of international tribunals.
This year’s Dubai Arbitration Week again distinguished itself through its high concentration of expertise and exceptional international reach. Prof. Dr. Dr. Hildebrand and Dr. Dr. Hildebrand engaged in substantive exchanges with practitioners and institutions from the Middle East, Europe and Asia, addressing the increasing institutional significance of Dubai as a global hub for international arbitration.
For Prof. Dr. Dr. Hildebrand and Dr. Dr. Hildebrand, the event provided a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insight into current global arbitration practice and to further strengthen international cooperation in arbitration proceedings with a strong economic dimension.
